Club Meetings
Club meetings are normally held every month on the first Tuesday . During winter months at the longdon Upon tern village hall and in the warmer summer months at the flying field .

New or novice flyers are welcome to TMAC. We teach Mode 1 or Mode 2 via a Buddy box system using Spektrum Transmitters. We are happy to teach on other makes of transmitter but you will need to provide your own "Buddy" TX as well as the master TX you fly your aircraft with.

We suggest before you buy your first aircraft you pop down to the club and meet with some of the members and you instructor/instructors and make use of the huge amount of knowledge within the club.
A good recent First airframe is the Century Riot which is proving popular as is the X-fly glastar V2 & the Eflite apprentice. These are all electric aircraft but IC (engine) powered aircraft are just as good.
Training is usually a weekday Event on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday with weekends by arrangement.
Learning to fly is a fun and rewarding experience where you can forget about everything except flying the aircraft !
